Pick up your custom ornament at one of our holiday shows!

 

IMG_7227Will you be coming to one of our upcoming shows this holiday season? If you order your custom or personalized ornaments from our Etsy store I will give you a code for free shipping if you will pick up at the show! Ornaments must be ordered no later than 5 days before the show in order for them to be ready on time.

 

We will be at the Asbury Park Bazaar November 25&26 – code APBAZAAR   12-10 for the Tree lighting celebration on Small business Saturday and 12-5 on Sunday at the Asbury Park Convention Hall 1300 Ocean Ave, Asbury Park, New Jersey 07712

Asbury Bazaar!

This weekend I will be at the Asbury Bazaar both Saturday and Sunday! I love AsburyPark, such a fun town!.

My hubs and I have been coming here for years, it’s our favorite shore spot! It’s so great to be a part of the pop up shopping scene here. I love the atmosphere, I love the customers, and I love going out to eat or walking on the beach after a long day!

If you’re in the area (or if you’re not, make a day trip, it’s totally worth it!) stop by and say hi, have a cider with me, and stick around for the Tree lighting tonight in the Convention Hall.

a little eco friendly packaging tip

This year I have been lucky enough to have Forage items on display in Bluebird Vintage, a great shop in Boonton, NJ. Not only is it a great place for locals to become familiar and browse some of my items but it is also a super place for them to pick up their custom orders! When I drop off their bags of goodies, I of course have to label them so that we know which bag belongs to which person. I’m always trying to use recycled materials for my packaging, but sometimes, well it just isn’t pretty.  For my bag labels, I came up with a cute, easy and eco friendly way to do so. I cut up the back page of old calendars. (you know the page that shows you the tiny version of all the pretty photos or illustrations that will be featured every month?) They make the prefect size gift tag!

I thought I’d pass on this fun idea for you to try with your own gifts. So before you recycle that old calendar, save the last page for your gift tags! Or better yet, if your package is small enough, use the corresponding calendar page for your wrapping paper! They are can be recycled after (re)use!
